Curtis Joseph gets his first start of the 2007-08 season after the Flames signed the free-agent goalie to a one-year, $1.5 million pro-rated contract last month. The 40-year-old appeared in 58 games last season with the Phoenix Coyotes and posted an 18-31-2 record with a 3.19 goals against average, .893 save percentage and four shutouts. Edmonton netminder Mathieu Garon is listed as a probable starter for the Oilers.
