The Calgary Flames will attempt
to snap a six-game losing streak against the Colorado Avalanche
when the Northwest division rivals clash tonight in Colorado.
The Flames last beat the Avalanche on Feb. 17, 2007, a 5-2
Calgary win on home ice. Over the past 10 games head-to-head,
Colorado has dominated, going 7-3 SU.
Calgary (6-5-3) lost 4-1 to the Wild in Minnesota in its

its first home defeat of the season on Saturday, a 4-3 loss
to the Vancouver Canucks.
Calgary is 2-4 SU in its past six games, while Colorado is
4-1 SU in its past five. There is a definite Over trend: The
Over is 8-2 in the past 10 meetings between the Flames and
Avalanche. The total has gone over in four of Calgary's past
five games when playing on the road against Colorado, and
the total has gone over in four of Calgary's past six games
