Toronto Maple Leafs

at Carolina Hurricanes

The Toronto Maple Leafs will be looking for their third straight win at the RBC Center when they face the Carolina hurricanes Tuesday night.

The Maple Leafs have won their past two road games against the Hurricanes – a 4-1 win in their last visit on Jan. 30, and 4-3 on Dec. 15, 2006. The teams are dead even over the past 10 meetings overall, each going 5-4-0-1 in that span. The Maple leafs will be looking for revenge, though, as the Hurricanes bombed them 7-1 in Toronto in the teams’ last meeting on Oct. 9.

In its last game, Toronto lost 4-1 to the Canadiens in Montreal on Saturday, while Carolina edged the Philadelphia Flyers 6-5 on the road in a shootout Saturday.

Vesa Toskala is expected to get the start for Toronto, while John Grahame will be in net for Carolina.

Carolina is 2-4 SU in its past six games against Toronto, and 2-4 SU in its past six at home. Toronto is 4-2 SU in its past six on the road against Carolina.

The total has gone Under in four of Toronto's past six games, but Over in four of Carolina's past five, and in four of Carolina's past six at home.

Bettors are evenly divided on this matchup, as sportsbooks were reporting Tuesday afternoon that each team is getting equal action.

Betting Line: Carolina is a 140-moneyline favorite at BodogLife. The over/under is 6.
